I am pleased to welcome you to my newly created web site.

Here you will find some of my pieces of art. Most are presented without comment, because I want the visitors to be free to interpret the work.

I was born in 1967, in the county of Neuchatel in Switzerland.

Self taught, I quikly felt the need to deepen my knowledge of different techniques so I attended workshops with various teachers, including the artist Gabriel Vuilleumier.

I mainly paint in acrylic and oil. I like these types of paint for their flexilility and the many possibilities that open up when I'm working with this material.

For me, painting is a way to express my feelings. I'm always in search of creativity through movement, colour and graphics. I like to think that it's my bold use of colour that first attracts the eye to my work. My subject is often the colour itself, and I enjoy the process of discovery almost as much as the end result itself.

Everything I see may ultimately become an inspiration for something I decide to paint.

My work is at the limit of abstraction and I am very sensitive to colour harmonies.
